Recently the guys at 3Dspeedmachine.com conducted a test between the three major 3D software packages to find out which was the top performer among the three. After a series of rigorous tests it was found that XSI was the top performer among the three, Maya coming second and Max coming third. Here is the link to the detailed report of this test
